Like I said. Rod Temperton was English not American white. That's why he has no problem with the FUNK. Don't take his credit. He is a different type of white than American whites.

You guys do. You think it's beneath you. Just like not being able to jump high or run fast. You don't work hard enough at it. You tell yourselves you can't so it becomes self fulfilling prophecy. White people in Europe can dance, run and jump. It's you American whites who dwell in the psychobable.

The outfits and style of dancing was a cross betwen the Hippie Movement and the Mowtown Sound. Blacks and whites had crossover music that we all enjoyed. Just because of the way the outfits look GAY to some people. That is because of them not knowing enough about our world. Girls in those days loved to see guys show off their physically fit bodies and dance sexy. We loved to see them show off their slim physically fit bods as well. Most of all, they were having fun, not fighting and shooting.

Great memories of 1977 eg : Sparks Nightspot , George St , Hobart , Tas . Afro hair , Bell bottoms , Platforms even remember the release of "Saturday Night Fever" at the Odeon , where every teenager wanted to be like "Tony Manero" (played by John Travolta) ... Lol great memories of the 70s :)
