'City's Burning'This song was recorded in very late-1981 for the 'Private Audition' album which was released on June 5, 1982.This was the 'first' video that Heart did for release on MTV during 1982.{MTV started on August 1, 1981}.I believe the video was cut in April 1982, after the album was completed in March 1982.If you look closely > only Ann, Nancy and Howard Lesse appear in the video, exceptfor a short segment {1:43 to 1:50} of Roger Fisher, who did lay down some earliertracks to this song back in he fall of 1979, before he was 'axed' from Heart.Both Mike DeRoser {Drummer} and Bass-Player {Steve Fossen} do not appearin the video.

This song has a sound mix between {'Quarterflash' and 'April Wine'}.It opens with a folk/acoustic jam, much like a cross between 'Magic Man' and'Crazy on You', then kicks in at the {0:15 Mark} with Howard Lesse on Lead Guitar.There is a strong presence of Van Halen {"Jamie's Cryin"} here.Nancy is donning a Jean Jacket in this video, trying to look more like a 'tough village chick'.Ann is wearing a 'striped' Jacket, which was her new style in 1979 and early 1980's..The tempo appears from 1979, as does the 'unpolished' video. And not from late1981 or early 1982, where the song was found on the 'Private Audition' album.
