Loved this album back when it came out. Try disappointed especially. Very very underrated band. I'm about the only person i onow who's ever heard of them. I found myself listening to it again today after years. And it's still a killer. Sunset and open road with try disappointed cranked. The lead out of that song just flies and the lyrics are gold. Fucking brilliant. They really deserved to make it bigger than they did.

I loved Headswim. They should have been huge. Kerrang decided who to champion in those days, I presume they were paid to push certain bands and Headswim wasn't one of them. Moist certainly wasn't one of them, either, because they were slated all the time, but Reef became huge thanks to Kerrang! I could mention a few more who made it on hype rather than talent....

i can't even find a copy these days, used to have it on tape but now play. com want £25 for it....sorely tempted but it would definitel be the most expensive album by far at that point :(

Hellooo. I know it's been a long time, but have just chanced on your comment. I was PR. Record company fuckery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have noooooo idea. I came over merrily from Vancouver and was 'given' Headswim. I had as much experience as a dwarf with a javelin.Tried my best. The band were always stoned, venues/journalists - bitter, me; naifuckingeave. No hits, the label dropped them like hot-shit. Dead Lp, 5,200 copies.! x

Loved Headswim. Remember seeing them the day their first single was released (they were supporting Tool at Manchester MDH). This album was their high point.

I think one of the reasons they never got massive is that after this album they pretty much dissowned it and pretended it didnt exist and tried to be radiohead because grunge wasnt cool anymore, i prefered this era headswim and it was my favourite album when it came out, still sounds great now, tense moments is great too
