They should've added a deleted scene or something to the Half-Blood Prince in which, while the school mourns Dumbledore's death after Harry returns from confronting Snape, Snape escapes somewhere away from the other death eaters and puts his wand up in respect for Dumbledore to this music....

This piece is beyond amazing. It just about brings me to tears every single time I hear it, it is just so moving. This piece tells the story of the pain and suffering both Harry and Snape endured during the killing of Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. For Harry he is tore apart inside because he realizes is last person that he can talk to about absolutely anything is gone, the person who became like a father or more to him, gone.... Harry finally realizes that he must grow on his own. For Snape, he is suffering from killing a man who did him no wrong. He is in pain from killing the man that gave him a second chance, protection and a new life. Then as said below by another person this song is played in the Deathly Hallows Part 2 when Harry is looking at Snapes last memories of Dumbledore and Harry's mother, Lily. Nicholas Hooper is an unbelievable composer. Also! for those who have been with Harry until the end, you too experience pain and suffering for the loss of Dumbledore. He was like a father, a grandfather or even a godfather and we too lost an amazingly smart and talented man. Long live Harry James Potter!
