The great thing about Hammerbox was that the fact that they had a hot chick singer was irrelevant- They rocked so hard that they bowled over all the other bands of that period, and nobody remembers them but the lucky few who were around at the time (or bought the Road Rash game, like I did).

I love that they play the original version, not the rocked up major label version. I'm sure this is the one they prefer. Wouldn't be surprised if they had some pressure from the label to rock it up for the grunge days...

Carrie Akre, talented and beautiful. The band as a whole is pretty fricken awesome I was fortunate to see them a few times while living in WA. One of the best shows Ive ever been too.
