Hall and Oates best song. The production is spot on, just listen to the careful layers of the instruments and vocals. The vocals unison and harmony spread at 2:26 is slick beyond belief. Hall and Oates at their best, and why didn't they stick with producer Christopher Bond? Bill

H&O tell the story of how the photographer said "I will immortalize you" and he sure did!LOL For years, people thought they were gay because of the album cover. It was during the 70's glam rock time and they thought nothing of it at the time. Bowie was doing it, Todd was doing it, New York Dolls. This is one of their greatest albums IMO.

This and the WONDERFUL (IMHO) "(You know) It doesn't matter anymore" are my two favorite tracks from that album. Someone long ago posted that this was when Hall's voice was at its peak (and he would have been in his late 20s, and voice teachers say the human voice is strongest in one's early 30s)...I concur. Wonderful instrumentation on both songs as well.

Yeah, this album cover was a big controversy back in the day. But that aside, the album itself was ace. Every track was dyno. The other album that was big un was No Goodbyes. Grammy winners. Hippe era misty trails from memory gospel.
