Thanks for posting the video Eddie. Wow a time when music was something. We never realized how special it was. I was only seven when this was filmed, but I knew what great music sounded like. Great drum playing.

You should talk to Darly about getting you guys together on Live at daryl's house.

I keep in touch with all these guys, especially when some archive surfaces like on ConcertVault (formerly Wolfgang's Vault). John and Daryl were great last week when they came through Miami. I would love to see a reunion show with the members of this 70's band while were all still alive and actively playing.

It's great to hear that you dig this one. I was really lucky to be playing with these great musicians and especially fortunate to get to play drums with such great songwriters and singers that Daryl and John are. I'm still playing and it's still important to have goos songs, good vocals and I try to always put something special together on the drums. Thanks for your comments.

Eddie as a drummer myself i have to say your playing is right up my alley brotha.. Great pocket and feel, and perfect level for a tune like this especially opening up in the chorus and bridge but then bringing it back nice and smooth in the verses. Great stuff man keep spanking those skins i love putting this version on my ipod and jamming to it and trying to get into your feel and your approach its one of my favorite tracks to jam to..

In Phoenix there was a radio station that played music such as this..and the next song might be from Zep or Sly and the Family Stone. Good times back then when then radio mattered.
