I LOVE this album. I was 10 when this came out and my older brother bought it and played it constantly. They have had a few good songs since this album but in my opinion this is the best they've ever been.

Sweet album. Wonderful song. Btw diner on the cover is the former Rosedale Diner in Pottstown, PA. Was sadly scrapped by the early 80's about the time H&O really hit their stride :(. Makes the whole album a bit more bittersweet.

Been getting familiar with lots of early Chicago, Eagles and Hall & Oates in the last 4 or five years. The latter could really take on the others and many others in their prime.

All great bands had to start somewhere. Greater things certainly to come.

I saw these guys when they made the NYC premier of this album at the Bottom Line in '73...epic. The backup band was "Chris Bond and the Abandoned Band". They were spectacular and for years after that.BTW, to the 2 people who disliked this song, I guaranfucking-tee you you didn't see the way the girls in the audience reacted to their music and to them.Definitely one of those rock n' roll moments where you go, "I really gotta get a band".;]

You can hear the needle at 1:55. It took me back to a simple time. (seems like yesterday, but it was a long time ago)

This was one of my late brother's favorite songs. I confess I didn't initially share his enthusiasm for the song, but admittedly it has grown on me...thanks so much for posting.
