Modern Prog done right! Fuck yes, this is the best song Ive heard in ages.... So many different time signatures in this song.... That part in the middle where it goes BOINGGG.... it goes into 11 and 12...and then later into 15 and 17... and then back to just 10/8 like holy shit this song is incredible. Its dark, Its ominous and eery, doomy, yet its also funky, psychedelic, and theres even a souly jazz section. This song is everything I ask for in a song.

Haken - The Mountain - 3 Cockroach King Not often that neo-prog of Gentle Giant is made, and this is truly amazing!

Love it. Very King Crimson mixed with Gentle Giant.

Now that I think about it, the Haken vocalist and the Between the Buried and Me clean vocals both sound like Jon Anderson on occasion.

Somewhat reminds me of Between the Buried & Me.

i thought the exact same thing! i think it has to do with the bouncy and sort of child-like aspects of some parts of the music. Probably the sort of semi-kidnapped story of it also.

Am i the only one who remembers Yes' Jon Anderson vocal lines with this song? Amazing song btw.

I was about to say the same thing, just incredible, versatile as fuck...I feel like everything flows perfectly, whereas a band like Opeth has some contrived musical changes
