This band should have been HUGE!! I took a chance on buying the first album and it knocked me out! I was a Gypsy fanatic after that and continue to turn people on to their amazing music. They are like no other American band or British one either....

Gypsy was one of the best bands the twin cities offered , VOCALS were incredible, when my brother came home from vietnam he had this on vinyl of course, i was ten years old at the time , i wore the album out, i feel lucky that i had the chance to absorb this music

I saw Gypsy back in 1070 in Minneapolis.  I loved them then and still love their music.  Awesome sound!

None of my High school buddies could understand why I liked Gypsy...they were so far ahead of their time....this music could rival todays Santana, Chicago, etc..

I saw them at the MN state fair in 1974... back when the State Fair cheapskates used topay to provide free entertainment...I think that ended in 1976... this is the epitome ofwhat a strong school band program can produce...now all your hear are flatted 5th head-banger songs , copies of old hits, and rap! what a pathetic nation  we've become.

We bought this album as our first 8-TRACK tape at a record store in PORTSMOUTH, VA in July, 1970, after hearing it played on a local radio station.  When our 8-Track tape got worn, we asked a friend to make a copy for us on his new CASSETTE TAPE RECORDER. ;-)  We have the CD now, and still listen to it weekly.  Besides the wonderful harmonies and music on this album, it can be listened to as individual tracks, or as a complete "story" with each track as a "chapter."  Sheer Genius in the World of Music!
