I would agree with you if the music was instrumental, because such songs open a wide range for the vivid imagination, but many songs with words are not to be taken by the listener's interpretation.They are meant to relay a message. "Here I am Lord. I am Yours." Their message is love and how deeply immersed in it they are when they are in God. I'm not religious either, I am relational and I am in love with Christ. Gungor is trying to tell you something. Try listening to their message :)
