One of my top five songs that Bob Pollard has ever written. Comes from a very dark record with not a lot of hopeful bright spots...I guess' Drinker's Peace" is kind of cheerful in a fatalistic way...but this song is an almost a defiant acceptance of one's state in life...and a seizing of the moment as well....all in under 2 minutes with a Cat Butt reference!
