Great song by GFR. The words take me somewhere on my own.

smog is bad but not as bad as LA...Jimmy Page was afraid to follow Mark on 1970 tour...GFR was fired from the tour....Page was skinny, nervous, and pale...Farner was the ultimate front man...looked like he'd spent half his time in a weight room...

This is the first album I ever owned. Really formed my whole musical ideology!

Yeah, you got it right. I still have my big silver dollar, E Pluribus Enum album from back in the late 60's and early 70's. These guys knew how to rock the house.

By Far, my favorite Grand Funk Album and this is one of my favorite cuts. I had the vinyl album and my first CD version was a Japanese import because this was out of print in the US for the longest time. Now I have the remastered CD version so I've bought this album three times.

One of the best songs Mark ever wrote. Along with some of the early stuff on E Pluribus.

I remember pestering my mom to buy this album for me. I was about 11, I just loved the cover. Used to see it at Korvettes, and one day she finally bought it for me. She just about freaked when she saw the band on the inside of the cover, shirtless, longhaired freaks!!! I grew up listening to this album, and it still sounds good to me.

@jehosh5577 for me "Born to die" is the most introspective....this was a transition album after the hard rock period managed by Terry Knight....

This seems to be their most introspective album and also, one of my favorites .
