eu não sabia que tinha tanta gente que amava essa música e seu solo incomparável. Foi um dos primeiros discos de rock que comprei na vida e não tenho vergonha de dizer que foi pela capa.....

I think this song has one of Mark's best guitar solos! Unfortunately, his rhythm guitar is grossly hidden in the recording.......never understood why it was recorded that way. I always wondered if it had the EPF guitar sound or His song Pay Attention to Me sound in it instead. You know, real gritty and in your face stuff..............

Grand Funk doesn't--DISCO? What do you call this? This sounds VERY 1975--like a song that Elton John turned down when he was doing "Philadelphia Freedom", sung by Don Brewer who sounds like a 'male' Cher!

@vanwagke Whats your problem dude are you a Don hater, why does this song suck? This album Born to Die was considered one of their best or maybe their best. Doesnt matter who wrote it have you ever listen to all the song the guitar solos ,the kick ass bass, the keyboards and the awesome drummin and you say it sucks..you need therapy and a lesson in who Grand Funk really was..Geez!

@vanwagke Are you Unaware ? Don sings " are you ready , I can feel him in the morning , Shining on , Walk like a man , please me , and many more BIG Grand Funk songs ...

are you completely unaware of anything Grand Funk? This song sucks. Don Brewer never wrote anything in his life other than some pretty poor lyrics. He had a good voice but was fed everything from Mark....the one with all the talent. Don admits he can't play any instruments...tell me how he "wrote" American Band all by himself? This was a gift from Mark who wrote the music, told him to use a cowbell on an "intro" because it was popular to do so, and gave him songwriting credit. Use your head...

This is the worst GFR song ever...some sort of horrible nightmare follow-up to American Band when Don Brewer thougt he had songwriting talent....almost singlehandedly killed the band....never charted and just stinks. All the best songs were Mark's....these Craig Frost/Brewer songs are just insipid. Feel sorry for those who think Some Kinda Wonderful, Locomotion, and this Take Me, are good examples of the best rock act of the 70s. Don shoulda just shut up and played drums and haromonies....

One of the best from Grand Funk! I really loved their albums during this period. I still have all of them. Shinin on and Born to Die were great!
