Lyrics:

You say that this is the end,

And I feel the knife cut off my right hand.

You may not care right now,

But if it's over, it's done and I won't turn around.

Love is dyin'.

There ain't no use in cryin'.

You oughta know me better than that,

I really love you if that's where it's at.

I really love you but I won't be back,

Oh how I love you, I love you but I won't be back.

A dreamer of dreamers I have always been,

And this time there won't be no givin' in.

Chances are we could change our minds,

But I don't think I can make it another time.

Love is dyin'.

There ain't no use in cryin'.

You oughta know me better than that,

I really love you if that's where it's at.

I really love you but I won't be back,

Oh how I love you, I love you but I won't be back.

Love is dyin'.

There ain't no use in cryin'.

I really love you if that's where it's at.

I really love you but I won't be back,

Love is dyin'.

There ain't no use in cryin'.

You listen to GF and then KISS. You can see who has the talent and who simply copies.

@sheddski Born To Die came out in Jan, 1976. It was their last album for Capitol. They were going to call it quits, But did one more for M.C.A. Good Singin'.Good Playin That also came out in 1976 [ Aug ] Dude, I lived through this and remember it very clear. Mark's first solo album came out in 1977. Capitol put out "Grand Funk Hits "in Oct 1976. Where did you get your info?? I have been a fan since I was 14 in 1970. I'll be 55 in Feb. They get better every time I hear them!!!!!!!!!

this one... pfff... shit this one is a real contender for the tittle of my fave Grand Funk song ever... but i'm no sure... there's so many other great classic... even in that same "Born to die " album... the guitar sound is unbeatable in this album... a lot of people like their early stuff...but for me i think (for the moment) Born to Die and Good SIngin Good Playin' are my fave GFR albums... their 2nd "Grand Funk" with the red cover is a top good rocker too...
