One of my favorite Rainbow songs throughout the bands history and lineup changes. Even though it was Roger Glover who wrote this song, fellow bass player and former member of Blackmore's first band Deep Purple, it was Graham Bonnet from the original recording of this song on the 1979 Rainbow Down to Earth album who truly took this song and made it his own. I still prefer the original recording overall but this version outside of Rainbow is my favorite no doubt! George Lynch by far did this song justice for Bonnet. Long live Rock and Roll!

Laughing uncontrollably at the 'Graham Bonnet lost his voice' comments. George Lynch's guitar track is, indeed, new... but the vocal track is OLD. It's from the Blackthorne album 'Afterlife' from the early '90s! Don't believe me? Look it up, it's on YouTube. He didn't lose his voice. He was just doing a different, more guttural style at that time. Bonnet still sounds great.

Funny , Graham ( I hate rocknroll ) Bonnet is singing in a more "Metal" style here. Lynch rocks on this but the original Vocals on the Rainbow album put this to shame. These are horrible. Sorry !
