Tune is also sung by many famous artists, such as Jo Stafford (original), Yves Montand (1946, from the motion picture Les Portes de la Nuit), Edith Piaf (1950, in French and English), Nat King Cole (1956, from the film of the same name, starring Joan Crawford), Eva Cassidy (1996, from the album Live at Bleus Alley), Roger Williams (1955, US #1, the only piano instrumental to reach number one) and the others.

I dare to say that even "professional critics" have no more right to decide what is what than any other person. Personally, I could give two shits what some self righteous "critic" says. I make my own opinions, as others should, not let another person decide these things for us. I think she has a great singing voice and very unique very prolific music career.
