I come from a family who lived on the ocean (Coast Guard), We had many close calls because our Coast Guard goes out to help disabled ships when no one else can. This song gives me Goosebumps every time I hear it. May the crew RIP in the Ocean they loved.:)

No money is being made? Then why did I have to watch an ad before the video played?

Gordon Lightfoot is still alive even though my dad told me that my late uncle/godfather really liked this guy and his music.

I'm going to add this song to my Titanic soundtrack. It'll be heard in the pre-sinking scene of the remade movie.

More likely an unsecured, or broken, latch.

Many of the shots were not from Lake Suoerior. Why was the MakinacBridge shown as that is between Huron and Michigan. There was also a shot of the M/V Selkirk settler which was taken in Mid Atlantic. The music is haunting and each time I hear it I get a sad feeling. It is believed she hit Superior shoal and broke her back. lakercapt

I was literally at the spot where the Fitz went down not too long ago. What an eerie feeling to know she and those 29 brave souls were somewhere right beneath me. May God grant them all eternal rest.
