I love what you wrote. This song is so underated. I saw him in concert in 1996 when I was 16 and he played this. You have to listen to the lyrics, don't you?

Actually, I'm in tears when I hear this, as I feel he hit it right on the head when it comes to the tremendous angst that people go through when something tragic happens in their lives... and no one escapes this. People and society 'pretend' that time heals, but it never really does . If one is honest with themselves. Thanks again for having the foresight to post this game-changing song.

Thanks for posting this! Very under rated and not well known, but probably one of the great songs he wrote. The words could be there for anyone going through a tough and emotional time. I think of my divorce everytime I hear it.. and then of course Gordon went through his own separation. Wonder if he thought of this too?
