Happy Birthday Dingeman van der Sluijs, better known as *Dick Diamonde* (1947. )Ha! A different version from their 1968 album "Vigil". The guest vocalist was Steve Marriott. And yes, it was covered by INXS and Jimmy Barnes for "The Lost Boys".#dapimusic #mymusichangout #ozrock #rockmusic #dickdiamonde #bassguitar #theeasybeats #bornonthisday #bornonthisdate

Why are there always some dickheads have to argue the toss and get anti this and anti that with racist remarks. Get a life and listen to the music.

Love this song. Guest "Croonermate" Steve Marriott on the chorus. Steve could have sung the Phonebook and it still would have sounded great.

The great Vander and Young. What a story of migrants coming together from far away places to little old Australia to create such magic.

Yeah ? (A lot of great music back then) Well then check out NRBQ !! Keith Richards coined them, years ago, as being the best Rock n' Roll band ever. So did Bonnie Raitt, but she also added "the best band .. in the universe". Check it out people ... venture out and move on from the stigma ... :-)

Mate, they all live Australia, and they used to have an Australian flag taped onto their drum kit when they were in England. No one has died, get your facts correct. Hope you have another coin for the gas meter, go and have the monthly bath and try and keep warm!

By the way idiot, do you have any idea how many Number One Hits the Easybeats had in Australia compared to EVERYWHERE in the northern Hemisphere ?, I bet you'll have to google that Einstein.

Besides the poms claim Rolf Harris as almost one of theirs, in fact many ex-pats are.

I'm sure their British teachers flew all the way to Australia to show them the ropes you must think, you must also think Aussies are dumb fucks, maybe you have a race problem.

They had never played a gig until they met each other in Australia, it was Australian rock and roll they were brought up on, as for the rest of your hate shit against Australia and Australians I don't give a fuck what you think you wanker and neither does any other Aussie give a fuck what you have to say as you haven'r even admitted what hole you live in, get a life and don't come here to get one

I haven't even used any reasoning faculties. You're not doing the image of Australians many favours hehehe. They all live in England now except for the one who died. Why would they go back to Australia?

Ahahahaha you're hilarious! Talk about a potty mouth. Oh yes I'm racist towards Australians, excellent one! Are even Australians even a "race"? These guys immigrated to Australian as teenagers and lived in a migrant hostel. Once they made it big they never returned to Australia. They're pretty much a British band (with some dutch members).
