@yoyomeng Ya I saw them at the Shaw Conference Center, Edmonton, Alberta on good friday 2009. I was lucky to be front row, right up next to the gate from GF, all the way to the start of Bodom's set, I left because I'm not a huge Bodom fan, and I didn't go back up because Lamb Of God fucks shit up, and they're one of my fav bands, so i wanted to stand back and watch:)) But when i was up front for GF, their bass player threw me a pick, it was awesome!!

@XIPH0S707 I saw them in '05 when they were touring for Gone Forever. Was at The Quest in Minneapolis. I like that disc even more than Constitution of Treason; It reinvented my interest music. I stool above the stage on a balcony directly above the band - was effin' sweet.

@yoyomeng ya when i saw trivium live in 09 they played a very bland set, and when i saw god forbid in 09 they were the best act, next to lamb of god of course. All that remains and Children of Bodom should have left cuz GF blew them off the stage, and GF was the opening band lmao.

@XIPH0S707 yeah i never really got into JFAC's first album, but Ruination is the sickest album. and i was supposed to see them in gigantour also, with inflames and megadeth :) and i think another band aha and the faceless is awesome. nuff said :D

@metalhead7369 oh hell ya, JFAC gets such a bad rap tho, people ALWAYS judge them by their first album, and neglect their other two albums Genesis, and Ruination, I LOVE EM! I saw them at Gigantour May 12th 2008 and they were excellent. As for the Faceless, their second album (Planetary Duality) is absolutely ridiculous in terms of awesomeness, and their lead guitarist, Mike Keene, is a beast.

@XIPH0S707 LOL i could imagine jesus headbanging :P and yea faceless is good too, they have one of my favorite breakdowns for me, the autopsy, the olo at the end of that song is kick ass. job for a cowboy is kick ass to !

@metalhead7369 ya, I'm not much of a CC fan either, I have seen them live though, with The Faceless and Obscura, and they were killer, haha I actually seen CC 2 days after LoG and GF, I saw LoG on Good Friday and CC on Easter Sunday. (2009) Jesus was jealous at how much great metal I witnessed that holy weekend lol. I must also say LoG and Chimaira have been my fav. metal bands over the past decade, both bands are absolutely killer, write great songs, and never cease to amaze me. Cheers dude.

@XIPH0S707 my bad god forbid has some more music i have just found, so they do have a good amount of music out there. and yes LoG, they are my favorite <3 people say they are too soft, i think they kick ass tho, sometimes i cant get into the really hardcore stuff, like sometimes even cannibal corpse can be a bit much for me aha

@metalhead7369 yup, I also enjoy Matt Heafy and company(Trivium). Their new album will be here soon, and i am excited, i really loved Shogun, and The Crusade. My favorite thing too about Trivium is the dynamics of their artistic ability. I saw God Forbid with Lamb Of Good in 2009, which i am guessing really boosted their popularity, seeing as its safe to say LOG is one of metals most popular bands today. So lets watch for these guys (God Forbid) in the future!!

@XIPH0S707 yes man the two songs from god forbid called chains of humanity and crucify your beliefs have some of the best metal riffs ive ever heard. if thise band was more popular, and made more music, they could be better than trivium, but or now trivium is at the top of my bands list. trivium is hated, for some reason i dont know of, but for me they have thrash metal, with melodies. they have growls and screams, with clean vocals. they are just amazing.

@metalhead7369 well they are both metalcore, and were both influenced by a lot of 80's thrash bands so I'm going to agree with you. Trivium has better leads imo, and God Forbid writes super catchy riffs (as do the guys from Trivium). I dunno about you, but i like em both equally.
