So in love with "almost paradise" ...can't tell you how I feel when I've heard almost paradise on the end of footloose..it was so great..I wished me in those room with those song dancing with my boyfriend... ..when I heard glorianas "almost paradise" I felt the same...and it makes me miss my love even more...can't wait to see him again in a couple of days....!!! 3

I think Eric Carmen wrote it though and he being famous for writing the other often covered kind of dark sad song "All by myself" and then himself hit it big again with "Hungry Eyes" from Dirty Dancing soundtrack

this song is from the original footloose originally sung by two othe people. therefore victoria and hunter sung the song for the remake of the movie and gloriana did a cover as well.
