This was the track Miller & the band recorded in 1939 just before they cut "In The Mood." Yep, it was this track which put them in the mood! Tragically, "Wham" became the non-hit flip side of the very dull "My Isle of Golden Dreams" (Bluebird 10399), the single Miller placed on the charts (just barely, as it only lasted one week!) just before "In The Mood." The success of the later disc -- the biggest big band hit ever -- sadly eclipsed the overlooked gem called "Wham (Re-Bop Boom Bam)."
