This de lightful little rhythm song (from 1928's "Rain or Shine" ) was a favourite with Glenn from his days as a trombonist with the Ben Pollack band. Glenn arranged this instumental version.

Cody Sandifer was the drummer on this recording. He really sparked the band's performance. Note especially his artful brush work behind the various soloists. He kept the rhythm section precisely "on the beat", not dragging half a beat behind it as his successors in the band were accused of doing.

Always liked this chart from a terrific GM LP of all broadcast material...as seen above! Glenn has a good solo on this one!

Do you have the song "Sometime" from the three album On the Air series from 1963? "Sometime" was composed by Glenn Miller with Chummy MacGregor with lyrics by Mitchell Parish. The song was first performed in 1939 at the Meadowbrook Ballroom. Glenn Miller never recorded a studio version of this song so it has largely disappeared. Ray Eberle sings the song. That would be a great song to post on Youtube because it is so rare.
