Gilbert ( Ray to his mates ) recorded a new single with the world famous fantastic Treorchy Male Choir on Sunday 27th Jan 2013. Hopefully it will be mixed and out ready for Mother's day. It is called Me Mam. It is gonna sound great!!!

@studiokip It`s funny you should say that because Gilbert wrote that song some time ago with the intention of recording a duet with Fats Domino . I believe attemps were made to arrange something but eventually Gilbert decided to record the song with Hayley Sanderson. It would have been great to hear the Gilbert / Fats duet !

@DayCism Gilberts new record company Hypertension are constanly being asked this question - at the moment all they will say is they are ` working on it ` but nothing is definate yet . The potential for this song in America is probaby greater than anywhere else in the world so it would be crazy not to release it there .The GILBERTVILLE album is available to download ( can you use itunes in the states ? ) - that`s maybe one way to get it now .

@ziearmo I couldn`t have said it better myself Barry . There`s some prophetic lyrics in the song ` I WISH SOMETHING GOOD` that go - " Nothing really matters when your six feet underground , sure everyone will be singing your praises when your no longer around " - Let`s hope this isn`t the case with Gilbert and he gets more recognition while he is still here to enjoy it .

@hammad313 Since about 1990 Gilbert has released an album about every 2 years - and toured to promote it . Check the dates of the songs in my uploads - you will see he has never really been away . GILBERTVILLE is just the latest in a long line of great albums !

@SuperKarend `Here`s Why ` is actually a duet with a female singer , but you don`t hear her in this clip . Not sure about a release in Canada - the information we have just says Europe and Japan . Maybe you can obtain it from his website or the on-line stores like Amazon etc . I hope so !

All I want to do is give this album as much exposure as possible - I know there are similar promo`s elswhere but people seem to enjoy what I`m doing and may not be aware of the other stuff available . We all have Ray`s best interests at heart and that`s what matters most .
