my favorite Gilbert song!! Excellent fun combo of news and pictures ! Especially since certainly, I never saw these type of magazines/papers since I'm here in the U.S. I was a teen in the 70's so I do recall him and his music. Thankx bunches.

@SuperKarend Thanks Maria - I think you are right - we can appreciate Gilbert`s music more now when you compare it to some of the ` music ` around today . He was always so different to everyone else and he STILL is today ! ( a new album out soon ! ) . It`s nice that he`s being re-discovered by a new generation - youtube is certainly playing a part !

@gosfanusa That`s a great story Joe . I`m with Gilbert - although I love all the obvious songs ( Alone Again etc ) it`s nice hearing that people like the lesser known songs , including album tracks . ` Out of the Question ` was a big hit of course , but it`s not one that most people would remember first if you mention Gilbert`s songs .

A few years back, Gilbert and I were interviewed. The magic of radio! The DJ asked me my favorite song expecting to hear "Alone Again." When I replied with "Out Of Question" , he was at loss for words. Gilbert loved my choice..and said I really know my music!

@birdman404 Yes for a basically shy man he certainly has had plenty of attention over the years . People forget how popular he was at the start - he was all over the papers and magazines as this video shows .
