This great bluesy track from Gilbert was first released in Germany in 1987 on the album FROBISHER DRIVE ( The name of the street where Gilbert lived in Swindon as a youngster ! ) When a re-vamped version of the album IN THE KEY OF G was released a couple of years later , there were a few song changes and FOREVER WONDERING wasn`t included . It`s a pity because it`s a great song !

@RWillemM Yes Rob that`s a great version . The interesting thing is that performance was recorded back in 1978 - it wasn`t on any of his records at the time - and it didn`t come out until 1987 !!!! He has a habit of doing that . I have read reviews of concerts from 2002 where he performs excerpts from two new songs he`s working on - THE ALLERGY SONG and HITLER COULD HAVE MADE IT WITH YOU . Here we are almost in 2011 and those songs are on his new album GILBERTVILLE !!14 years ago

@RAYalized Yes I heard him say once that it wasn`t a trick photo - the piano was specially made from light-weight wood . So that piano is about 23 years old and he must have saved it - now it`s there again on the GILBERTVILLE cover !!!!!14 years ago
