I saw him open for BNL back when he was first starting out and I have never seen an opening act put so much heart and soul into a set. (In fact, very few headliners do that.) I bought his CD the following day, and have purchased everything else since.

He's great live, Met him many years ago at a tori amos concert he was opening for and he was very kind and friendly. I was actually there to see him I've seen tori many times he was so excited about that (This was before he had any radio play and had just recently been signed). He autographed some stuff and was very candid, In my opinion he stole the show with just him and his guitar no lights or gimmicks just good music.
