For those people that do not know what the line he is happy to be home it means he is happy to be out of the closet. We should accept everyone for who they are gay or straight! Thank you Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou who is George Michael for this wonderful song!

No problem, I prefer to "Argue" than to "Fight" ! (Fighting, OK but only with words...) I read your comment about the Gays, and about your change of attitude and point of view on their subject. That proves that you're a cool and intelligent guy, and one of the RARE whom recognize to have made a mistake or to have been blind. Nobody "CHOOSES" to be born Homo, not more than Hetero. No more than to be Black, tall, small, or to be born in Russia rather than in Mali ! You're a Good Man, Cris. :-))

I used to be a homophobic guy until i met a gay guy. Not knowing he is gay we became friends. When i found out he is guy was too late for me to say "F you, i dont like you".We had a nice open chat about the whole gay thing and now i understand a lot better. It was a mind opener for me. Being gay its hard when it shouldn't be. Truth is we are too much orientated on colour, religion and sexual orientation when we shouldn't be. Life is hard as it is and then we make it even harder by being stupid

Hard feelings? No way! Its only Youtube after all. I get what you're saying....after you point it out i did see what you mean. I only felt like giving you a little bit of shit back ... Look forward to your next comment... :))) Its funny though arguing with someone you never even met... (do not mistake "arguing" with "fighting")

Rhhaaaa, Cris, come on ! I laughed SWEETLY at you and my comment was ironic because the sad story of George Michael's uncle is well known. (If you have read some of his interviews or articles on his life...) And if it wasn't your case, just listen to the words of this song : very too precise and very too realistic words to be an invented story. If it was me who had written your text, you would have been right to make fun of me ! No hard feelings I hope ... ;-))

Fortunately whom you were there to enlighten us Cris, because without you, we wouldn't have known that this song spoke about that ! Very acute as boy.

Cris, it could only be that. It's so sad about the Uncle. If he could only have been strong enough to hang in there for George to grow up. He might could have" become himself". I'm straight but it applies to all types of people. My mind is much to open for my "Old School" family, that I am the black sheep and all but an outcast. It hurts, it really does.

hi! I love this song! I'm italian and I have a question. when he say "I'm glad to be home", does mean just "I'm habby to stay at home" or it's a metaphor for "I'm happy that I found me". thank you!

Such a moving song. Sad that people couldnt feel comfortable in their own skin and this is still going on today
