Always liked this song, but this arrangement is wonderful!! Same with the instrumental version of "This Boy." So much good music from the Beatles and Sir George Martin.

Beautiful. I loved this song since a kid. I like this version of And I Love Her, better than the vocal one.

It goes to show that Rock music, if it is well crafted can translate well to orchastra. Frank Zappa tried something like that and it was a disaster.

Please come back to this video & see my Hollyridge playlist link. This is definitely not Stu Phillips' Hollyridge Strings - it's too mellow. This is drop dead gorgeous in it's own right, but you will find all the Hollyridge scores to be more innovative than most easy listening recordings. Do you listen to KAHM if you're in AZ? I can pull it in in my car down here in Phoenix. chuck

If anyone else is confused about the Hollyridge Strings Beatles covers, the playlist linked here is a good easy reference. I met Stu Phillips 2 years ago. He was a unique genius who produced hit music for every age bracket, from Blue Moon with the Marcels in 1961, to music like this. chuck

Gorgeous version..I'd imagine this was sedate enough to be played on the Beautiful Music stations of that era. Have been looking for this for years!

It took a long time to find this. I used to ballroom dance to this from one of the early vinyl albums and later releases they dropped the song.

I believe that this is actually a "Hollywood Strings" version of the original Beatles Song. You may want to check it out.......... They sound about the same to me.......... Please take it as a complement- This is fabulous, no matter who performed it...............

Parlaphone for some reason did not do the George Martin instrumentals. Years ago I saw the United Artist release for Japan with these gems. It was $28.00 for the CD, and I thought, that's to expensive! What a mistake. I am really glad YouTube came along with these memories.

Only George Martin could put together a song like this and make it so romantic!

@lordgaga2009 Thanks for the info! I did not realize this had ever been released as a single. I just looked it up on Amazon, and there is one copy for sale for $35.00. Oh well, we live and learn!
