Boy, does this type of drummer get dumped on by these jazz fanatics. Obviously, the 2 aren't companionable so why bother critiquing a metal drummer through the ears of a jazz fan? It's just stupid to judge based on that criteria. Ultimately, the only way to compare drummers would be to have a great jazz drummer challenged to master, say, this and George to master a jazz piece. Now that would be interesting. That would be a fair way to critique them both, no? To deny these guys of their talent is stupid and ignorant. It's like me saying that that jazz guy couldn't play a blast beat or at 250bpm if his life depended on it. No duh, he's a Fucking jazz artist!
