Interesting to learn that this song is actually about something. I always presumed it grew out of a jam, and should have been on the "Apple Jam" disc. It's mostly a vehicle for one of rock's greatest guitar riffs, which I think (intentionally?) recalls the riff from "Helter Skelter". I love that part where a trumpet suddenly kicks in along with the riff, playing a totally different counter-melody.
