This rendition is beautiful. Almost as good as Roslyn & Charles' (both passed on and nearly forgotten). Thanks for the post.

The music in this rendition is beautiful, not to mention the poignant sound of Mr Benson's voice. Now listen to Oleta Adams version along with Nina Simone's...This song is so beautiful it evolves and yet remains beautiful in every iteration.

I was just 13 or 14, when I got into George Benson, thanks to my parents, who had great taste in music. I would play his albums, endlessly, with my headphones on, jamming our "Quadraphonic Stereo" and equalizer. Lol. It just chilled me out. Now I'm 50, headphones plugged into my laptop, and I'm on another planet. 1 thing didn't change, though, this song is still magical, and sounds just as great as when it was released!

As a piano/keyboard player, in my heart this is the most beautiful piano work ever peformed. Mr. Dalto died at the age of 39. But his artistic level rivaled that of Mozart, Beethoven, or whomever. I hope you will listen twice and focus on this incredible man.
