When I first heard his music the goosebumps ended the next week...What impressed me the most was his picking technique.I don`t know what he does exactly but it sounds like he is ferociously caressing the strings...

George is my fav overall guitarist..This doesnt sound a challenging as say ;;Ripped to Shreds'' or anything else on Venemous Fingers...Jeff Loomis' Zero Order Phase was the best guitar album of the last 6 years

George is a modern composing and guitar genius. He's a real musician. People who listen to him and only hear shred aren't really listening. He's such a master of melody and harmony. Yeah, he's one of the greatest shredders out there too, but he's got what most don't have and that's soul.

George is one of the best musicians in the world. He also happens to be one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I am glad I can call him my friend, too. He just so happens to be a great music instructor and innovator in composition. There is so much "meat" in his songs for study of how melody and harmony work in a modern context. His chord resolutions and progressive sense is absolutely brilliant. His music is the new thing.
