Great band and love Glycerine. Love the lyrics the cynicism and just the whole feel of the song. It also has sentimental value because of a certain girl which cements it for me personally as one of my favorite songs.9 years ago

is it me, or does 'The Sound of Winter" sound like Bush's earlier song from Razor Blade Suitcase, Insect Kin. I believe is he name of the song. its way way to similar. decent songs. i LOVE insect kin... but i feel this is a riff off of that. 10 years ago

I love Gavin and the song "glycerine," I'm a little young for it to count as an "anthem of my youth" but it's a great song. It gives me goosebumps, the lyrics are so evocative!! Really cool to know he was influenced by Howl, I read it in college years ago and absolutely loved what Ginsberg did with words, sound, and pronunciation. =)10 years ago
