The Epiphone Casino is actually a guitar with one hell of a heritage, - original ones very much sought after. - John Lennon, George Harrison being amongst the considered status players, - more modern users being The Edge who has a really sweet natural finish one, - Noel Gallagher has I believe a few good examples. Not all are laminated tops, - some are solid. It is only in more recent years that Epiphone have become the budget line for Gibson, they are in their own right a very respected maker

He loves Epi Casino, and this specific one is an Elitist. AFAIK, this model are well constructed in Japan, are flawless guitars and sounds great. I assume he can afford a Gibson 330, but who cares? What are the real differences between both axes? I only know two diffs. 1.- Epi Casino, top laminated, 330, solid top;, and in this case, the solid top can make more resonance (the good unplugged) and more feedback (the 'bad' when plugged)... 2.- Different logo in headstock But perhaps I am wrong...

I think those effects gave this session a 50's 60's blues touch. I really enjoyed it!

I think guitarwise, Gary is the future of blues.Plus dont like the effects on their voices that much.
