Producer, Paul McCartney. Arrangement, Richard Hewson.

The flip side of THose Were THe Days is "Sparrow" written by Benny Gallagher and Graham Lyle, a songwriting duo signed to Apple Publishing. The recording took place on 2 March 1969; Hopkin sang and played guitar, McCartney added maracas, a session musician played upright bass, and Hewson arranged a choir part

@martyw34 Should I fall into any other record in such a state, I will definitely follow your advice. Thanks! :)

@richpat This was my first encounter, some years ago, with Mary Hopkin's voice. Unfortunately there are a lot of scratches, since I found this vinyl almost in a dust bin. But yes, I still like it a lot, as a song too. I made a small edit in the speed approx. at 2+ min, because it suddenly started going too fast... May be I overdone it a liiiitttle more. Thanks for commenting as a Mary Hopkin admirer...

Ah! clicks and scratches I love it! the best way to listen to music, Vinyl is best. Nice to hear this thanks. I think possibly though this is playing a little slower than 45rpm!
