Thanks Dad for Shooting Hoops with me: Shooting Hoops - G Love & Special Sauce.Glad that, from a very early age, my dad shot hoops with me, no matter where we were growing up, he always put up a backboard and rim/net for us, we’d shoot hoops for hours. Neighbors, friends, family, strangers, passersby would often stop in for some pick up. On vacation, visiting family, wherever we’d find ourselves, in an alley in Huntington, WV next to my great-grandparents’ place, to driveway, empty lots, elementary, jr-high, & highschool courts from NE Ohio to Florida, we would play, watch, and laugh, walking away humbled, but happy. Even more glad I lived in Kenmore later as an adult, watching Lebron James play pickup ball for fun at Innes Jr. High when he was in High School playing for St.V/St.M. Too bad his contract prohibits pickup games now.
