Amen! I loved to arrive at Epcot and track the Corps down for a live rendition or two. They never let me down. Thumbs down to management for killing great live music.

I used to work at Epcot back in the '80s and this group was always a pleasure to hear. Disney got cheap, scaled back, and fired nearly all the musical groups then started inviting stupid H.S. marching bands to take over the jobs of highly skilled musicians and put them out of work at the park. Very insulting to these musicians, and the guests were kept from hearing high quality musicianship. The H.S. bands don't even have to audition so Disney gets some real winners to torture the public with! Then the bands get to return to their hometowns thinking they have new bragging rights for playing at an amusement park having taken jobs away from these great musicians. Pathetic.

7 performances a day, 5 days a week. Insanity.

cant believe the public just strolling by....not stopping to listen to these gifted musicians. The no talent fools, in a hurry to get a corn dog or something. Anyway, its agreed they should have kept this program.

i hate Micheal Eisner for getting rid of these guys. Saw em twice. 87 and 2000.

Holy sweet Jesus. That was amazing. I really wish they were still around. It would be so awesome to be able to play in it.

As I recall, they did 7 shows a day; It was about a gig per hour.

Performed several times a day, outside, from memory and marching at the same time? Awesome job! Such a pity they're no longer around : (
lol. Well at least they had plenty of time to make up for any mistakes.

What I find crazy, these guys did this ALL day. Even as a euphonium player (which isn't too demanding on chops, not like trumpet) I cringe at the fact that I would have to perform this more then twice... what an AMAZING group of talent!!!!
