This song isn't satanic, thats ridiculous. If anything I'd say its about the end of a relationship, right before you say your final goodbyes: "You know we can't erase these words before goodbye And turn the final page" "Ahh here comes alone again- its over, we're without each other Everything's broken - stuffs no good Everything's vacant -pointless Everything's wasted time again" - same old shit, it was a waste of time

the implication of the song is pretty satanic, everything's wasted, vacant, sentiment's wasted, innocience jaded... it's an incredibly abysmal state to be in (the more you're in love the more you'll feel if it comes)

Actually I think it might be the other way around. While the old fuel did seem a bit repetitive I think that was more the music. Now their songs are tighter and better written but Bret's voice was much more, sincere I guess, than Toryn's whose stays pretty mush the same through the album.
