The best version sing by the best singer for that type of song. This is a release from a LP '' All alone'' that he did back in 1962.

What a great interpretation of this sad and reflective American standard. I think that honeybee7700 is correct. Frank's voice as well as this arrangement do sound to be more from Frank's Columbia years (1947) than his 1962 version. Is it my imagination or does this album cover at first glance appear to have some resemblance to der Bingle?

final decision? Theirs sucked. FS rules. Theirs was all about "them"...showing off, whereas FS really WAS singing the song. It was the notes, the arrangement, the conductor, and the singer of the lyrics. Sorry but ya gotta get rid of todays crud and think of how this type of music is supposed to be done, as written. Not made for the self-concerned.

title is "What'll I Do" not what will I do, and its 1947, not 62. PLEASE correct? Thx for posting tho!!!

Sinatra's sense of phrasing has never been matched. That man is one of the greatest performers of all times.

Is this considered the definitive vocal rendition of this song? Cause it sounds pretty good. I discoverer this song watching "The Kid Stays in the Picture." Thumbs up if anybody heard it first in "Kid."

You know, songwriters must have loved it Sinatra sang their songs. No one got as much out of a song as did Sinatra. Beautifully sun, but so, so, sad.

"All Alone" is Sinatras most underated lp on reprise!! "When I Lost You" is soo moving! Of course this version is NOT from that '62 lp!! Sinatra was waaay better older!!

I have this record on vinyl, and every song is so beautiful. It's one of the greatest heartbreak records of all time.

great song by the greatest singer but the picture on the record cover doesn't even go with the album, this mug looks more like David Frost!

This recording is a single from the 1940's...this is not the recording from the LP 'All Alone' I have the LP 'All Alone' on Vinyl and it sounds a thousand times better than this, the phrasing the orchestra, the quality of the recording is completely different and much better. Please get your facts straight before you post things on the internet. This type of stuff is very ignorant.
