@CarpeDiem1Brooks It's a recording of a sax, played backwards, with delay. That's why it sounds so funky. Tons of reverb too.The cool thing about saxes is that they sound awesome both forwards and backwards. It does sound a lot like Space Lion, too.

So that IS a sax? Everytime I hear it I think that CAN'T be a sax, it's too windy, but I don't know what else it could be... always makes me think of space lion from cowboy bebop~

beautiful subtle soniferous sax, and beats i've imagined for years, and even used in sequences of my own. sometimes grooves just form themselves and occasionally an artist does exactly what your ears hope for.. its wierdly gratifying.. and i should toke less herb before commenting : ) all too often it becomes a ramble!
