Fools - Running Scared 1981

Original by Roy Orbison 1960

Just running scared

Each place we go

So afraid

That he might show

Just running scared

What would I do

If he came back

And wanted you

Just running scared

Feeling low

Running scared

You loved him so

Just running scared

Afraid to lose

If he came back

Which one would you choose

Then all at once

He was standing there

So sure of himself

His head in the air

My heart was breaking

Which one would it be?

You turned around

and walked away with me

Absolutely One of Boston's Best Bands ! Had the Privledge of Working with Them and Getting to Know Them, To THIS Day The Fools are Playing CONSTANTLY not Only in the Boston Area. They have Actually and Recently Been Booked a Few Times in Europe. If You're a Fan Then You Probably Already Know About Their Facebook Page which has Their Gigs Posted. "Psycho Chicken, Q'uest ca Ce ?" LOL ! That Song was MEANT to Be Funny. But Obviously Mike can Sing Like 'No Tomorrow' !!!

This is pretty funny. Look at the audience. See, MTV came out in 1981, the same year as the song. The Fools were under EMI and making a video for this new medium. A channel that plays music videos 24 hours a day (They did...back then). Making music videos was totally new to bands, but absolutely foreign to audiences. While Mike and the Boys pull off a decent lip synch job, the crowd is sitting there like they're waiting for dental work. Ha!

I'm sure Mike would love to read how people are speaking of him in the past tense like he is dead or something... lol Mike is alive and doing well. Still sings his ass off and The Fools are just as good as they ever were. If you've never seen them live, make it a point to get to a show. It's worth it.

Girard could really sing. The Fools were the BEST Bar band around the North Shore and Boston from 77 - 1980

Man these guys look like tools. It looks as though the people in the audience do also, I'm happy that its no longer 1981
