Etta was born Jamesetta Hawkins and is best known for performing "At Last." Her album titled The Second Time Around featured the song, "Fool That I Am", and this song was a Top 15 hit.

Within the last couple of years Jully Black's performance of Etta James song "Seven Day Fool" charted number 9 on the Canadian Hot 100. This song was released to Canadian radio in August of 2007 and became Jully's first top 10 single. Cool, "eh?" :-) LOL! (Yes, I had to add a Canadian touch to this song. LOL).

How fabulous was that!!!!!!!! What a magnificent voice you have min!!!!!!There aren't many who can sing this how it should be sung and I am not sure there are any who can sing it better than you have sung it here. I don't like the word but I'll use here, AWESOME my friend, AWESOME!!!

@practicing4 So true, Min. The oldies were done with a big heart, nowdays it's just a "music-production" by the big companies. But theres always someone good in the new ones too, but like you said, they have an "old sound".
