Lizz Wright is a phenomenal talent. I had a chance to see her speak about her debut album in Philadelphia, Broad and Chestnut St at Borders many years ago. She's a beautiful woman that I'd say is an old soul. It definitely shows in much of her music. She was 24 at the time if memory serves but the vibe she gave was of a woman much older, much more mature than what one would expect from a 24 year old. Especially in this era. It's a shame that she doesn't get the same support as flavor-of-the-month product dressed as talent. +Pamela Darkins thanks for posting this.
