@madskrillz2 Me too. Good movie. =) And of course, what they're thinking is money. Everything is an industry now; art, music, film, relationship drama (hence reality TV) and even sex. These things that used to be so personal have become part of some huge corporate mechanical ploy. It's a real shame.

@ DeviantSon, I admire your quest to open up your musical parameters. I might suggest you search out Brian Eno. (You probably won't like the "ambient" stuff) and then branch out from there with the people he chooses to surround himself with. Read the credits and look for albums with vocalists. A couple of suggestions for your mind expantion: Before and After Science, Taking Tiger Mountain, Another Day On Earth, Another Green World. You will find it much better that the crap that's offered today.

It's genuine music like this that makes me wish so badly I wasn't part of my generation (19 going on 20). Granted, I'm huge into heavy music, (alt. rock/metal, industrial, grunge, etc.) but even I know how to recognize good music outside that realm. It can be so difficult to achieve powerful music while keeping it in a low-keyed mood like this. I probably woudn't have heard of him if I didn't hear his "Orange Kay" score on "Sling Blade" (1996). Good thing I watched it. =)
