Years ago, walking through Camden market with my then BF, I saw someone I recognised, who was walking passed without acknowledging me. I hit him on his arm, and said "Well, don't say hello then." The man in question was puzzled to say the least. As I walked away, my BF said, "You do realise why he didn't say hello, don't you? It's because he doesn't know you. That's Roland Gift." If only the ground had opened up and eaten me whole!!
