Do the original Fields still exist? I doubt that this newer band would have known about them anyway! Band names get recycled in time! But in any case I was merely stating that this is not rubbish!

@universeiswise You obviously don't know much about good music! And there wouldn't be a court case if the 70s band have stopped recording and performing. Fields have dissolved, but not for the reasons you have stated but because they were underpromoted. If you don't like this track, try listening to 'Charming the Flames', and I defy you to say that that one is rubbish. Guy Garvey loved it, and that's good enough for me!

I'm afraid they have split up. Nick plays in Dan Black's band. Jamie is into writing poetry, Matt has joined Does It Offend You, Yeah!, Thorun went back home and I've no idea what Henry is up to. A 2nd album was recorded ' Hollow Mountain', but Atlantic refused to release it. The band couldn't afford to buy the rights.

The album version rocks. This version seems stripped down. It may seem different because I crank it up when I listen to it. It's definitely one my favorite songs.
