Do the treble, middle, and bass knobs effect the clean channel, channel one? I have a small Frontman and I love it but the only complaint I have at all is the treble, middle, and bass, don't seem to effect the clean channel at all.

Could I use a bass guitar and an electronic drum kit with this amp ?They both sound so good coming out of this amp, but I don't want to blow out any circuits or the speakers.

For the price you can't go wrong. It will get LOUD. I tried other speakers and a couple other things. The stock speaker seems to do the different amp simulations better. To swap speakers its not worth the hassle. The speaker looks cheap and probably is but it works. Yes it does pedals really well. And it weighs nothing

This amp is a NO BRAINER! I got mine at Sweetwater, as a demo, and I cannot emphasize enough what a good deal this thing is. A damn good amplifier.

Would this be a decent starter amp, but also loud enough to carry us on to the point where we'd be playing/practicing along side a drum kit?  The other one I would be looking into would be Orange Crush 35RT, would the Orange or Fender be louder?  I'm leaning toward the Crush and an Epiphone AFD for starters.
