Happy Upcoming Lupercalia! It is celebrated from Feb 13-15th! Have a massive spring cleaning in order to honor Lupa and Declutter your life!! It is a day of cleansing! This is a day of forgivance for the bloodshed of the city's founders altercation, and the day of Lupa. Two Roman families would venture into a cave and sacrifice goats for good luck; Quintili, descendants of Romulus followers, and Fabii, descendants of Remus followers. Afterwards, there is a party with lots of wine. Then, whips and loincloths from the goat hides would be worn on the otherwise-nude priests, and they would trot around the streets of Rome with these hide whips. Then, drunk and stumbling through the streets of Rome, they would playfully slap people with these goat-whips to bring them good luck; ease of childbirth; fertility. Roman citizens would clean out their things on this day as well; Roman Spring Cleaning Day.Have fun, fellow Pagans!

I may be wrong, but I am fairly certain I heard something a lot like this in one of the Witcher games. Great melody of course.

This song is a fragment from a text written by the Roman poet Ovid (43 BC – AD 17) on Lupercalia, a pagan ritual that originated Valentine's Day.Lyrics:Ipse deus veloxdiscurrere gaudetin altis montibus,et subitas concipit ipse fugas:ipse deus nudusnudos iubet ire ministros;nec satis ad cursuscommoda vestis erit.Translation:God Himself likesto run about quicklyin the high mountains, and suddenly He conceives Himself fleeing about:if God goes nakedHis ministers must go naked too;for running, clothes are not sufficiently suited.

peace to those who can see past color, gender, background, past, present, future... peace to those who embrace peace.

Ipse deus velox discurrere gaudet in altis montibus, et subitas concipit ipse fugas: ipse deus nudus nudos iubet ire ministros; nec satis ad cursus commoda vestis erit.
